What is telehealth?

Telehealth provides a convenient and efficient way to connect with a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance without the need to travel to an office.

Through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform, you can meet with Luz M. Kelly, to discuss new symptoms, ongoing health concerns, or questions related to existing conditions.

While certain services- such as diagnostic testing, physicals exams, and preventive screenings- may still require an in-office visit or laboratory appointment, telehealth offers a practical solution for follow-up care, symptom evaluations, and many non-urgent medical needs.

What happens during a telehealth appointment?

During a telehealth visit, you will meet with Luz at a scheduled date and time via a secure online video platform.

To participate, you will need a reliable high-speed internet connection and a device such as a computer, tablet or smartphone. Instructions for accessing your appointment will be provided in advance.

During the visit, you can discuss any health concerns. Luz will evaluate your symptoms, recommend an appropriate treatment plan, and monitor your progress for both acute and chronic conditions. 

Telehealth appointments are also appropriate for requesting prescription refills or making adjustments to your treatment plan.
